Goosenecks in the Rain

Very nice Alan! Love those Goosenecks. There is something cool about being able to capture them like that. I am sure the light was even with the overcast rain clouds, I might add just a bit more contrast though to the slightly shadowed sides. Though I couldn't fault you if you left it like this.

Did you camp there? It's a great place to set up for a day or two.

I might stay out there tonight. There is't a lot else around Bluff for sunrise/sunset subjects that I can access.

With a little bit of hiking you can come up with quite a variety of compositions too, so while it's all Gooseneck, you can come up with some cool stuff. I have done some pano's there, it always felt cool to get 3 full goosenecks into one image.

Great job on this on Al. I've only visited from the top as you have here, but I like Jim's idea of scouting around, especially if you have another night and sunrise. Good luck.
