1st Base Oops

These guys were high school age so there were errors, but they were playing for the State 2A (small school) Championship so they're pretty good. The red team won by one point in the 11th inning. A good game except I was for the blue team.

Very cool Mike! Great timing here.

This reminds me of myself, I lived for and loved sliding into bases when I played baseball. Even on adult softball leagues I would still slide into bases. There is something cool about being able to slide and get dirty and of course be safe on base. I was of the mindset that if my uniform was still clean at the end of the game I hadn't played hard enough. :eek:

After reading this, I can't seem to get the image of Pig-Pen and Charlie Brown out of my mind :D.

Ha! Maybe Jim was but this play at 1st seemed more like Mo, Larry and Curly ;).
