A trip to Ruby Beach, with stop overs at Cresent Lake and the Hoh. Disappointed in the sky at Ruby but may be able to justify the trip. Here are a couple for your perusing.

You got some nice reflections with that lake. I like the color and clarity of the water. I am heading for the Ruby area tomorrow for a few days and hopefully will have better luck with the skies.

Ya, the marine layer sat on the horizon like it has a habit of doing. It wasn't a waste but it could have been so much better. The best shot was as we were leaving the beach, Ted slipped on the logs and I turned to see how he was and saw the stacks with nice late light. ( Ted was fine ).

Thanks Jim. It is a very nice lake, the road (Hwy 101) skirts the edge so sometimes comps. where you can pull out or without road in them can be challenging. But it is big and still can get like glass, got to love that combination. Thanks for spelling it correctly. : )

Beautiful place, especially the water clarity.

Somewhere around 600 ft. deep. The color is sweet at the west end of the lake. And Waterford doesn't make anything as glass like, as it can be.
