Icelandic Life

In spite of two weeks of driving rain and wind with the occasional break, I was able to pull off some acceptable creature imagemaking in Iceland. The first well known puffin location we visited had no puffins at all for the two days I was a there. A lot of head scratching and muttering ***. About ten days later at the 'other' known location, we found them. And then there are the Icelandic horses, so handsome and elegant. And the friendliest creatures I've ever met, always wanting to be near you and kiss you!

And then a typical scene in the western fjords. This image should be in the 'Welcome to Iceland' brochure!

Wow - I like all of these. I can see why you kept looking for the puffins. The horses shot and the fjord want to be on a wall.

Sounds like you had fun :)

Wow! I finally got back out of the mountains and was glad to be greeted by these sweet photos. My favorite is the horses, that pano is very compelling.

This is a very great taste of Iceland!

LOVE all of these. When I was in Iceland I wanted to photograph a Puffin but then found out that they leave during the winter seasons. And the Horses I couldn'tr get enough of!

You know the Icelandic Ponies are my favorite :). Great images all but I have to go with the ponies! Print it huge & hang it in the living room!
