Mom & I spent last week in Port Townsend with my Uncles, and they took us to Bloedel Reserve. What a fantastic 150 acres of gardens, ponds and this beautiful Manor.

I hadn't heard of it, maybe Alan has. But it sure looks like a cool place. There is something special about those old large mansions.

Yes it is open for all to just go sit & relax, read a book, whatever. That lady was in the parlor knitting a sweater then she moved out to the back patio. They want you to just sit & reflect & take in the beauty!

Nope - I haven't spent all that much time in Port Townsend. I typically am farther west from there. Looks like a place that would be worth a visit from these images.
