From Mono Lake a few weeks ago, there was some gentle colors as the sun was beginning to rise. It was a cool, crisp and peaceful morning.

    All comments are welcome,

I like the earth tone color palette for this image - has a nice feel to it.

Nice one Jim. Interesting colors in the water - a greenish tinge this side of the tufas and the reflecting the sky on the far side.

I appreciate that Jameel. I was surprised how that are of water at the bottom didn't seem to be reflecting any color, I went back a couple of times to the original to double check it as I was processing it and in fact desaturated that green at the bottom as it seemed to stand out too much from the rest of the shot.

It's nice to see cool colors dominate a Mono Lake tufa shot instead of warm to hot sunrise/sunsets.

Nice image, Jim. Isn't it wonderful how an image can bring us back to the emotions we felt when we were photographing it. I love going through my images for that very reason.

Positively alien. I like the warm light mixed with the cold forms.
