    The layering is fantastic and including the lake is serious eye candy to top it off.

    I like the layering in the background Jim, very cool looking. I do think the foreground rocks are distracting more then anchoring the image. A tighter shot or two of the layers I think would be great.

    Thanks for the comments guys. I'm with you on the tighter shot Jim, wish I'd had my 70-200mm to work on that. I already toned down the brightness of the rocks in the foreground as much as I thought looked realistic, but I can still see the distraction.

    Here is another shot from the same area without that foreground, but it loses the lake.
