My wife often attends the twice yearly sale at The Glass Eye shop in Seattle to get gifts. I've gone a couple times to help her carry things, and to try snapping some pictures. We attended last weekend and she only got a few things, so I was left to play with my 90mm macro lens. When I got home I experimented with layers and blending modes to get these results.

Wow - more colorful than nuked DVD's :D The glass itself is pretty interesting but the two blends take this to another level.

How interesting Jim! Very creative again on your part.

My favorite is the closeup, there is something about that one that I really like. I then also like that Difference Blend quite a bit.

Wow. And I thought they were going to be of glass eyes......opened this thread with some trepidation! The close-up & the Difference Blends are my favorites, too.

Thanks for all the comments. Now I wish I'd taken more. I didn't have a tripod because I thought it would be more crowded, but should have had one in the car.

Here is a link to a big blend.

Neat effects. Although to be honest my favorite is the straight macro shot.
