Floating down the middle of the Colorado recently and the sky had a few ideas of its own. I was happy to get these conditions while on the water. Ten minutes later we got pelted with large hail and strong winds. Didn't last long, as is typical here. Of course, I titled this one "Impending Hail".

Not sure what's going on with the second one, but the first one is a beauty.

Thanks Oliver. There's no charging. No cell service. No internet. No electricity. For ten days. I brought 12 batteries. I had a few unused by the end of the trip. I did have a power bank to charge my iPhone for quick pics.

Alan, I did have the R5 II for a very short time to use with my existing EF 200-400 f4 (w/1.4x). And yes, I did bail on it for the Sony A1 II and their 200-600mm. I still have the 200-400 if anyone is interested.

Thanks Jim. When I got there I saw that it was not going to be like other similar images I've seen where the posts are in straight rows and you can see far down the center. It was a big mess of posts everywhere. So, framing and cropping was more challenging and I went with the 'confusion'...
