Behind the swell (San Rafael)
This is a short drive with some great scenery if you are in the Goblin Valley area.
To get there, turn off hwy 24 as if driving to Goblin Valley. This is also called Temple Junction point A on the map.
Drive west 7.3 miles. Temple Mountain Campground is a milestone. Look for a road to the left, named alternatively “Chute Valley Road” or “Behind the Swell Road” B on the map. I recall Behind the Swell along the road, but the maps show Chute Valley.
I drove 13.7 miles to the end of the well maintained road point C on the map. It continues on I think to the west side of Wild Horse and Bell Canyon canyons loop hike.
