Picking out the Best photos from a year is tough... that's why it's taken so long for me to get this thread going because I am having a hard time getting it down to 10.

So I will start with 6 photos and then fill in the rest later. :)

#1 - American Basin in SW Colorado. It's a favorite place of mine, and since you can drive to about 10,000 feet it's a great place to acclimate to the high altitude. That's a meteor I was fortunate to catch.

#2 - Not far from Silverton is this cool spot on the 550. Alisa had the idea for a shot like this, so in-between Wildflower Basin shooting, we did this.

#3 - Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve. There was a bumper crop of flowers out there. I wen out a couple of times there and this one ended up being one of my favorites.

#4 - Yosemite National Park. I was supposed to be too late for Dogwood blooms there, but I still managed to find some, and on top of that found a new area and composition to shoot them at.

#5 - Arch Rock in Joshua Tree National Park. I went earlier then normal to shoot this, but I really liked how the Arch in an Arch turned out.

#6 - Skyline Overlook at night with Lightning! This is a spot I met Ben and Jeffrey at last year, and plan on meeting Ben again this year.

You did get in some neat photo sessions this year. I do like the high altitude stuff in #1 and #2 along with the nighttime images in #5 and #6.

Thanks Alan! I was fortunate to get to some really awesome locations with great conditions.
