1. Sunset North Cascades, drone pano, I continue to learn and use my drone to capture new perspectives.

2. Morning Star Pk. drone view in winter. Taken on a rare winter climb/ski of Vesper Pk. that kicked my old butt.

3. Spring skiing, Mt. Pilchuck's Choke Couloir. This is a screen shot from a drone selfie video I shot on a great day on my favorite little mountain - not a great artistic photo, but pretty cool to be able to capture myself. I had this side of the mountain all to myself that day.

4. Summer morning pano from Pilchuck looking north. The fellow hiker on the left didn't know he was posing for me.

5. San Francisco sunset from the Golden Gate bridge. Taken at the end of a long day of walking and touristing around the city with my old German climbing buddy and his family. Wolfgang had a thing for the pelicans, so I was glad to get a good shot of them for him.

6. I drive a mile over to the east side of Lake Stevens to fly the drone when the sunset looks promising.

7. Varied Thrush in my back-yard. The snow providing a nice reflector to illuminate the beautiful belly of this guy.

8. Palouse from Step Toe Butte.

9. Downtown Seattle, learning to use my iPhone 11 which was a huge step-up from my old 6 and is often replacing my RX-100 as my casual walk-around camera.

10. My wife Debbie and her 99 year old father Charles who lived with us for the last 6 months of his life. He was a wonderful old gentleman. It was hard to see him go, but we felt lucky to be able to help him through this difficult time. I'm working on grabbing more memory snap shots like this, often with the phone, instead of worrying about perfect artistic shots with my big camera.

really great series. #2 really stands out to me because of the long vertical view and the strong b&w tones.

Hey Jim, I am glad you got these up. it’s so hard going through everyone’s Best photos, because it would be easy to pick all 10 as a viewer! But I will pick a couple that stood out to me.

#4 first, followed by #7 and 8. Trying to choose between #1 and 6 as my favorite drone shot, and I kind of lean towards #6 though #1 is really cool with how the cloud looks like smoke from the peak.

2 was the first one that caught my eye, but I love the light and color in 6. Nice set of images. I was surprised to see that 9 was a phone shot. It came out really nice.
