#1 April, Borrowdale, English Lake District. This is one tree in my favourite copse of trees backlit against the dark hillside with the Spring colours just starting.
#2 June, Mid Wales. Frustrating to shoot as many people were taking selfies and I have had to patch multiple images together to make them disappear.
#3 July Pool of Light. Glen Bruar, Central Scotland. Proud to have spotted this small waterfall amongst the many much larger ones in this small glen. The low water levels have added to the scene.
#4 July, Aberfeldy, Central Scotland. My third visit to this location and I found a new stretch of river to photograph. Low water levels again and the bright green of summer foliage both things that I usually don't like.
#5 August. Dragonfly in a Cumbrian swamp. This is my first macro insect photograph that I am proud of, still a way to go though.
#6 October, Derwentwater, English Lake District. Another example of spotting an image although most people would either not notice it or even if they did would not think it worthy of pressing the shutter.
#7 October, Kelly Hall Tarn, English Lake District. Probably the easiest photograph to take, everything falls into place and the light was glorious.
#8 November, Loch an Ealachan, Highland Scotland. A 3 hour walk across rough snow filled countryside looking for any foreground interest to complement the snow sprinkled mountains.
#9 November, Lochan an Ais, Highland Scotland. The end of a great day of tramping across pathless country with a soft sunset to add to the natural beauty.
#10 December, Derwentwater, English Lake District. Waiting for the mist to lift and for a brief instant the far pine trees revealed themselves across the Lake. A few minutes later and the mist disappeared and took the magic with it.
