Here’s my 2021 crop of keepers

#1

This was an image I spent the afternoon setting up, I wanted to center the rock over Polaris, which I of course had to adjust for as it got dark, and its the first time I used my new 10mm lens.

#2

This is near the 50 year trail system in Catalina, AZ. I had a ball riding there and made a new friend in the process

#3

This is my second visit to White Sands and I wanted to do something different and sortof geometric with my composition

#4

This was the sunset last night at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, where I am hiding from the winter weather that has most of the western US in a cold snap.

#5

This is the lighthouse at the mouth of the Coquille RIver just north of Bandon, OR and is one of the first daytime long exposures I have shot with a new filter I had just acquired

Cheers, and here’s to 2022!

Looks like a good year for your shooting. I must be on an alternate course to Ben since my favorites are #1, #3, and #5. The B&W of the Coquille Lighthouse worked quite well.

I always enjoy seeing everyone’s favorites. My favorite for me is #2, what an awesome image with a great foreground and then the sun and sky to boot. #5 is my next favorite, the B&W works really well, but the composition and exposure are fantastic. Then I really enjoy your #1 with the stars!

#3 is my runaway favorite from the lot followed by #5 and #1. Good haul this year :)
Thanks you! Looking forward to 2022!
