Canada goose at Local Park

Some of these geese stay in Denver year round. I guess they got tired of flying back and forth north each summer for breeding and south each winter for warmer weather.

He was quite tranquil, he swam right up the bank and watched me for awhile. I think he was looking to get a little treet from me, when it was not coming he swam slowly away.
