Canvas prints?

Anyone tried printing astro images on canvas? What was the result? My printer has the capability but wonder the final image quality as compared to photo paper?

I haven't tried, I wonder how that would look. Canvas tends to lose details, so my gut feeling is it wouldn't be as good as printing on paper. Now if it's a noisy image, canvas is good on hiding noise.

Thanks, I may try it with one of my starless images, may take on a whole new look as it would be more artistic than astronomical.

That would be a good one to try. Let me know how it comes out. I should print some of my Astro, so it will be interesting to see how canvas works for you.
