This popular little hike is mobbed in the summer so I never go then. Last Monday I had it mostly to myself on a cool and cloudy day.

Super cool Jim! You are the master of B&W. All of these are fantastic, but #1, 3 and 5 really jump out at me. And I love the mystery of #5 as you have to really look and think and see what it is you are thinking.

Neat set of B&Ws. I really like the mood of the first one with the trees poking out from the clouds and the amazingly smooth water on the lake in #3. The last one is almost a brain teaser. Excellent B&W work as always.

I wish the mob scenes were thinning out at the coast like they did for you at this location. The Oregon coast is still a madhouse.

I'm sure you'll have a good trip Alan, you seem to get up early enough for a quiet beach walk.

We're leaving this morning for a long trip likely ending up in NM with lots of stops along the way. I spent a crazy day charging batteries, packing, and contacting friends yesterday.
