East of Bryce

Backlit hoodoos can be a beautiful sight and there are a bunch just outside of the park on the east side along UT12. This is some mid morning light behind a cluster of them near the Mossy Cave trail.

I have stopped there along that road many a time and shot. It's cool because you can get some different angles and get some really nice back and side lighting then you could from inside the park. Good one Alan.

I Love Bryce! I remeber the colors more vibrant though. Did you tone it down or is this because of the light?

Thanks Carlo - I didn't really tone this down much at all. This is on the highway heading east from Bryce towards Escalante.

Good eye to capture the smaller scene with great little details and light. Just a thought if you will permit...maybe bring the shadows down a bit, darker, to more exaggerate the back lighting?
