First Night with Skyguider.

I got out tonight with my new Skyguider tonight. It was about 25 degrees and I had to hurry before the moon came out. But I'm pretty happy for my first try. And shivering...

This is 6 shots at 200mm ran through Starry Landscape Stacker. I blame Jim for this.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I guess I need to figure all this darks, subs, and flats stuff you guys are talking about.

Congrats Brian! This is probably 95% better then most peoples first image with a tracker. You did really great. Orion is one that is both easy and hard. It's easy because it's bright, but it's hard because the core gets blown out so easily.

You deserve a party! Because it's not easy to set up astro gear when it's 25 degrees out, but to have it be your first time and it's 25 degrees out is a great accomplishment on your part!

Yes, really an excellent version of this, regardless of how you tracked it, but especially considering you used a small sky tracker. I like the overall exposure which keeps the object looking natural, and the colors look great. Awesome result for starting out!!! Be careful, the 'black hole' of astrophotography can suck you inside the event horizon before you know what happened...:)
