Forum Upgrades

I wanted to keep everyone in the loop with some upcoming forum upgrades.

We will be upgrading our forum software a whole revision #. Which in the upgrade world is a big deal.

I will attempt to keep what you see on your computer looking very similar, though at first some of the colors might be off, and the forum listing might look a bit strange, but I will attempt to get it looking as close to what you see now as I can.

The inner works of the forum software will have some major changes, so the coding that's been done on our current version will no longer work. Some of that might take a little while to sort through and work out. When the upgrade is done, anything you notice or see that seems off please share it here in the thread or send me a Conversation.

This upgrade is probably still a week or two away, I will give everyone a heads up a day or two before so if you log in and see the forum is down, you will know why. Hopefully it's only down for a few hours, but I can't predict for certain.

Forum upgrades are still on the way, but with my Mom breaking her hip, and her upcoming surgery has put a slight delay into it. I don’t want to upgrade without having my full undivided attention on the upgrade.

I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop.

Fully concur - complete focus on the task is not optional for such an upgrade.
