I have re-discovered my love of monochrome over the last year. Ken
#1 Eilean Donan Castle at high tide. One of the places that I can't drive past and the rippled reflections made the stop worth while.

#2 Melrose Abbey. Much knocked about by the English.

#3 A ruined WW2 German coastal battery in Brittany, part of the "Atlantic Wall"

Those are some great starters for us Jim!

I always aspired to B&W greatness back in the days of film, but never came close to good. The modern tools for digital conversion have given me a renewed interest so I'm always thinking of B&W possibilities when shooting now. It has also been fun going back through my old slide scans and converting some of them.

Very nice Ken! I sure like these. It's funny I shot a lot of B&W also when I was younger, and while they seemed okay then, I can do a much better job now too.

I only have two black & whites!

Even if this was color it would still appear black & white as it was a wind blown snowstorm..
