Thanks Alan. I am trying to get in a habit of shooting portraits whenever I can. If I ever run into you out on the trail somewhere you can bet I'll try to talk you into letting me photograph you!

Awesome work Michael. Love her serious look! Nicely lit up too, that's not easy at that time of night when the light is changing so fast.

Is she a model, a friend? Or some stanger you talked into this?

Thanks Jim! I used a single speed light with a small softbox. It is easy to set up and use quickly and I am happy with the results. Lilith is both a friend and a professional model. I am very hesitant to ask strangers to pose for me these days.

Thanks Michael. It's great having friends like that. I have one back in California, she is a total natural in front of the camera. By day she is a nurse, but get her in front of the camera and you would think she was a paid model.
