No snow, no Santa, no holly, no reindeer, just a statue of a young mother and child. World peace is perhaps too much to expect but one day without conflict would be nice.

I don't know if my wife would like to be described as historical but here she is in the 13thC parish church of Notre Dame de Venasque in Provence, France. Ken
