It has been far too long since I've posted here. Summer has been busy but I've finally gotten away for a few days to explore a new area: the North Cascades. The area south of Mt Baker was very interesting. Dense forest similar to the OR/WA coast and then easily accessible mountain terrain with lots of trails. Here are some photos from the Baker River Trail and Park Butte Lookout Trail.

3. More of the forest along the Baker River trail

4. Clouds swallowing up Mount Baker

5. Tarn reflection near Park Butte. The clouds just got thicker and thicker throughout the day. Tried to make the most of it.
