I've owned this lense for about a year and a half. Some observations:

Firstly, it's heavy. Roughly one kilogram. So beware using this lense with a light tripods. Also the camera plate should be a stiff one, preferably an l-bracket. Otherwise the system might start to creep when shooting vertical photos.

Image quality is great. The center is tac sharp already at f1,4. I usually use the lens for astro photography and it's good at that. There is a little coma in the borders from 1,4 to 2,8, but nothing drastic. When used at f5,6 to 10 the sharpness and lack of ca around the frame is very good indeed.

Cons, I don't know. The coma, perhaps, although it's not a big deal and can be reduced by using live view and focusing using stars in the corners. Other than that, no complaints.

Some photos with this one:

F1,8

F2,2, seven frame panorama

F1,4

Hey Matti,

An interesting write up here. It matches up to what I have heard, and that is a lot of good things about the 20mm f1.4. It's a lens I have contemplated, and may at some point pick up. For now, the 14mm f1.8 is my astro lens of choice.

Nice photos also to help demonstrate the IQ of the lens.
