I like the scene in the first image but it doesn't impart the impression of deep snows quite like the second one. Looks like a good day for snowshoes or cross country skis.

Both are really cool images, I think I would like #1 better if it was in B&W. The ripples in #2 sure are sweet.

I don't know why, but I usually prefer snow images as blue and white.
