Thanks Jim - this isn't quite as wet as a lot of the coastal forests but still gets around 80"/year.

Nicely captured forest scene Alan. Given my recent trip to the Olympics where I found it challenging to make interesting compositions extracting order from apparent chaos as well as the challenging light conditions, I appreciate your work even more.

Thanks Jameel. Lighting is the worst problem I have and especially in the Olympics - I see a lot of potential scenes to shoot only to be foiled by a dark forest with patches of bright skies/light in the frame. It's always tempting to try exposure stacking but I haven't had much success with that approach.
