Upgrade to Windows 11

Have any of you done this? Any issues?

I need to get a bigger hard drive, 256GB is marginal for me. I want to upgrade the SSD to 500 GB and do a clean install of win 11 and then reload everything. Time for a refresh.

After that I will probably upgrade Topaz to the latest release.

I did. Not clean install but upgrade 10. No issues. Some UI changes will take getting used to.

If you are upgrading your SSD skip 500 and go to 1TB.

Also upgraded DeNoise and sharpen to the latest.

Why 1 TB? and did you mean to say you upgraded to 11, or upgrade 10?

I haven’t done it yet. Thanks for bringing this up Ben as I had been thinking on asking the same question myself. I am happy with Windows 10, so I hesitate to upgrade.

As to the Hard drive. I totally agree with Jameel. The 2 rules of computers when upgrading is always get as much physical memory you can get, and always get the largest Hard drive you can afford. So for sure get a 1tb.

This is the 1TG version of the one I already have. $252 is pretty steep. This is my system drive, so I don't store any data here.
