Waterfall Wednesday 10/17/2018

It's once again Wednesday and time for more falling water.

This shot is fresh off the memory card from yesterday's wanderings in the woods at Sweet Creek. I was somewhat astonished at just how little water is in Sweet Creek this fall and the shot below demonstrates that well. Last year the two logs to the left of the lower falls were immersed in the waterfall flow and the spot I shot this from would have been close to knee deep water instead of a bare rock.

This is in Idaho Falls, Idaho dead smack in the middle of the city.

Thanks Ben. I am glad I stopped to shoot it finally, I have driven by it multiple times in the past, one of the fun aspects of our Waterfall Wednesdays is that part of why I stopped was to add more waterfalls to my archives. And it was such a fun and odd experience, as I am out photographing there with my tripod and camera gear while groups of kids and adults are walking by catching Pokémon with PokemonGo. Of course when I was done shooting I had to pull out my phone and see what Pokémon everyone was chasing.
