Wetlands Sunset - a Portrait Panorama

One of the fun parts about getting a new piece of camera kit is testing out all the new features they have to offer. In this case my Mavic 4 Pro has the ability to swivel its gimbal around for portrait oriented captures which of course allows for shooting panoramas with a taller field of view. In this case I used it to shoot a bunch of different sequences during a particularly nice sunset in early December. This is a 6 shot panorama using a 70mm lens in portrait mode.

C&C always welcome.

Neat. I have yet to try the portrait mode.
Thanks Jameel - I have it set up on the left button in the back of the controller and the right side back button toggles which camera is in use. FWIW all three cameras shoot in 2:3 when you swivel to portrait.

I actually like 2:3 aspect ratio since that is what the SLRs (and milc) do as a native form factor. It took me a while to adjust to 4:3 with the Mavic 3 Pro

Very cool work Alan, and thanks for sharing that this was imaged in the portrait mode. I am sure that has to open up and make some of your photography easier, like with waterfalls.

Thanks Jim - Many of us have used portrait oriented panoramas with our regular cameras for decades without thinking twice about it so it seems only natural to be able to do the same with a drone these days :) Its a perfect fit for waterfalls of course.
