This is Clearwater Falls, just north of Crater Lake NP. Here is one of many tiny waterfalls within the one big one.

Thanks Alan. It's just a hue adjustment to the yellows to get to this. I guess it's just as polarizing as a "normal" IR photo.

Again at Weston Beach in the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, these three tiny scenes were less than 10 meters apart. Shot on an overcast day, I did not touch the color in processing, only adding contrast to make them pop.

With Jim going crazy over the aerochrome look, I thought I may as well give it a go. I tried it on quite a few images before deciding on this one. I don't think it will replace my standard gold and blue look, but it can look striking with the right image.

I feel like those subtle colors are coming out of their shell and bringing the warmth!

I'm calling these three close, closer, and closest. All from Weston Beach in Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.

A lot of Portlanders flee to the coast every time we get a spell of consecutive hot days. To me that's the worst time to head there because of the crowds. I'll just do my hikes in the mornings and turn on the A/C at night. Nice sky in this image. And it does feel pretty cool!
