Thursday's Task - 10/15/2020

Today's task is to post anything associated with ocean fishing: Scenes of fishing villages, fishing equipment, fishing boats, etc.

Not a scene I shoot often but I do have a couple from the Oregon coast.

Port of Siuslaw in Florence with a couple of commercial fishing boats:



And Astoria. Astoria used to be a major salmon cannery port and the shoreline at the mouth of the Columbia River is covered with the pilings of cannery structures that no longer exist.



And one cannery that was still standing when I shot this. Storms tore this up quite a bit after I took this shot but I think it is being resurrected and repurposed now.
