Beautiful “N” series Alan, I like the “leading line log” in your Ruby Beach sunset—very nice! The Carter Falls is perhaps my favorite but all are interesting landscapes well captured.

You want north? The USA is not north. I’ve been in the northern Yukon for a week, and there’s plenty north of me still. A few from this adventure…..

Jeffrey, beautiful collection you’ve shared from your adventure—especially the first two images. In your first, I love the single tree centered in the middle ground against that magnificent mountain background—and a very colorful foreground to complete this gorgeous landscape. My favorite! Your second image is also well captured and perhaps more dramatic—very nice! I like the two leaning buildings in the B&W capture too.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful landscapes you’ve captured on your travels. I can‘t choose a favorite Iceland waterfall image—each is perfectly captured. The Moraine Lake image is my favorite among in this collection—love the reflection and the composition.

Dan, I love your first and last images—my favorites. The pictured Northern Lights is so very nice—a natural wonder. Your first image has such a beautiful sky captured—very nice! And it’s always good to see snow (from while I’m sweating here in Tennessee!

Thanks again for a great topic, John. Sorry I am a little late to the party.

Here are a couple from me, the first is from Burchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, Canada and the second is a sunset over Birch Bay in Washington state.

And just one more a Rocky Beach in Oregon
Larry, nice composition in the Rocky Beach photo—nice leading line and great image! Beautiful sunset at Birch Bay and pardon my curiosity—but did somebody jump overboard?

Doug, your first image is my favorite—a beautiful landscape you’ve captured (with a sufficiently short shutter speed). Nice composition in the Munising Falls capture—and a gorgeous landscape too. I like the Margerie Glacier image too—and I had to look up “serac!”

Thanks for the comments John, appreciate. The boat did not move for several hours, so I assumed it was anchored out there. ;)

Larry, just hoping you didn’t have to perform a rescue. And by the way, thank you for your participation—I especially favor the Rocky Beach image—very nice!
