Waterfall Wednesday 9/27/2023

Another set of falls from the Columbia River Gorge. In this case Wahclella Falls from a visit prior to the Eagle Creek Fire. This side canyon was one of those that got hit quite hard by that wildfire and was scorched down to bare rocks and soil. I should wander up there one of these days and see what it looks like now as there should be new growth along the trails by now.

Another 2 images from Aira Force. Taken last week after 4" of overnight rain. I am off to the Isle of Skye on Monday and should be able to stock up on waterfall images as it has been raining heavily for a while in Western Scotland. Ken

Incredible amount of water coming over these falls - looks really nice and especially the second one with its own little rainbow.

Beautiful falls and some beautiful fall colors getting started. I love the view of all the cascades in the first image.
