A Few Early Colors

AlanLichty · Oct 8, 2024

Fall colors are sparse in the Portland/Vancouver area so far but I did spot some small stands that were starting to put on a fall show in The Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge last week.

C&C always welcome.

Thanks Jim - it's a start but there were only a few patches that had some color. Most of the trees in our area are still a couple of weeks out.

We are starting to see some color here but it is early. Haven't ventured out to higher elevations yet.

Thanks - this is actually very low elevation right next to the Columbia River. Maybe 20-30' above sea level at best.
