The Cascade Runoff is going strong right now, and little Wahkeena Creek's waters are raging! These photos are from early yesterday morning. Even though the creek is only a few feet wide in places, the noise can be deafening.

A distinctly high flow rate - great shots from the area. Was it crowded up there or did you do your usual early morning jaunt up the Gorge?

I was there around sunrise again - the best way to shoot Gorge waterfalls IMO. I have no idea what a waterfall looks like in the afternoon anymore.

I'm with you on that - I love shooting waterfalls at sunrise. No harsh light and no people around...
