Quite a variety of trees Alan—very interesting and sometimes very unique captures! The Mt. Helens captures a stump with roots “walking” down the hill certainly caught my eye. And the burl tree is also quite the unique image too! The Mammoth Hot Springs is my favorite—a beautiful image! The “Nike tree” is another interesting image too—strange isn’t it how somethings catch on. (Are there any Lichty donations on the branches?) Thanks for sharing!

Michael, I love so many of your images—the pine tree in Joshua Tree NP and another pine atop the rock in Zion NP are two favorite—very, very nice! The aspen pair in Utah is beautiful image in its simplicity and warm colors as well. Great captures all! Thank you for sharing!
Larry, four very nice images you’ve shared—thank you for doing so! I’m thankful you shared the old juniper in the first image—a definite favorite! I love the M.V. Mitten landscape with the tree’s bare branch creating a memorable composition. The “Old tree” in Red Rocks Park is another nice composition as well.Here are a few from my archive:

Kyle, you’ve shared beautiful images for this task—a wide variety too! I love the colorful Botswana baobab—an impressive foreground silhouette making the image memorable. Very, very nice. The candelabra redwood is another unique image—perhaps one of a kind. The rainbow eucalyptus is another very interesting image too—very colorful and a great addition for this week. The New Zealand wanaka tree image is personal favorite—so very beautiful. And many thanks for sharing the bear cub climbing the tree—I hope mama bear wasn’t nearby! Thank you for sharing all these “tree-rific” images Jameel—love them all. The first image from the arboretum is a very interesting species—very nice. I love the lone green tree against the red rock at Arches NP—perfect. The Oregon sunset(?) scene captures a gorgeous sky with mountains beyond—and the lone silhouetted bare tree as the compositional focus. Very nice! I also love the Zion NP lone tree with its golden foliage against the red rock—gorgeous and my favorite! Thanks again for sharing!
Jeffrey, I like your self-label “fully licensed tree hugger”—I suppose that may apply to me as well! And I love every image you shared (thank you too!) I have so many favorites among your images too…I absolutely love the first image—a beautiful B&W capture! The second image is perfect as well—beautiful color and perfect composition. I love the minimalist simplicity of your third capture as well especially in design. Of course the balance of your seventh image is well conceived and executed…and my favorite.
