Thursday’s Task: Scenic Spin.
This week: Fields, grasslands, meadows. Your interpretation. After searching my files, I discovered very few images in this category. However I’ve seen numerous beautiful “field” images from members posted on FocalWorld and hope to see them again.

I wish I had more images of old barns and wide open fields from Illinois and Iowa when I drove back last October. But, here I have to consider any open space as a field...

Craig, all gorgeous “field” images! I love the “Silver and Gold” and its title! “Desert Delight” is a perfect composition—love the foreground! A favorite. “Another Roadside Attraction” is another great capture and composition—love the light and the layers. “Again the West” is another image with an interesting desert foreground and buttes beyond. Very nice and another favorite. “Fall’s Splendor Lingers” is another favorite with beautiful autumn colors and snow on the rocky mountains beyond. Very nice composition. “Sunset Surprise” is a beautiful field—with cattle, with a beautiful forest and mountains beyond. Love the hillside angle. “Unforgiving Earth” is definitely a favorite for the perfect image—and title. Very nice. Thank you for all beautiful images you’ve shared with us today Craig.

Alan, very beautiful fields (etc.) you shared and we thank you for each. I love the Steptoe Butte images, especially the first—wonderful layers and subtle colors. Very nice. The Gallatin mountains image’s layers of colors of the golden field, green evergreens, the blues and whites of the mountains and the sky and cloud bank. Nice. I also love the Siuslaw River winding through the green field and bordered by the green trees. Nice mix of autumn trees and evergreens too. The same comment could be said of the Cape Horn image. Another very nice drone image.

Jameel, I like the Ridgeway CO landscape image of the round bales foreground with the majestic mountains beyond—the inclusion of the bales makes me smile—love it! The Vermont fall image captures the beautiful colors of the season. Nice image. The Tetons image’s capture is bisected by the golden fields and the blue mountains and sky—an interesting composition. And I’m glad you also shared the Palouse image as well—love the curved and colored layers. Very, very nice. Jameel, thank you for sharing each of these landscapes with us.
