Grand Canyon National Park, AZ
Bryce Canyon National Park, UT
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, CO
Craig, beautiful canyon images, each is so well captured! Thank you for sharing all of them. "A Bench with a View" is a perfect composition. Very nice. "Rock of Ages" is a perfect title and image as well. Very nice. I really like the extreme wide angle composition of "Labryinth" too, well done. Perhaps my favorite (of all these favorites!) is "Breaking Dawn"––love the light captured (Dead Horse Point State Park never looked so good!) A gorgeous landscape! "Mists Rising" is another well conceived and executed composition. And "Mystery Canyon" is another wonderful composition. Again thank you for sharing!A few from my archives too...

Alan thank you for sharing your landscapes for this week’s Task—very nice captures! I like the first image of Arch Canyon (I‘m going to have to look that one up!) Nice. I love the Palouse River image—I like the contrast of light and shadow as well as the depth in this image. Very nice. The Goosenecks image is another well seen scene composition too. Very nice. The Lower Antelope Canyon is so beautiful with the cool and warm colors—also very nice. I really like the Echo Canyon image, a definite favorite! Love the layers too. Perfect. The Columbia River Gorge is a gorgeous pano—I love this image and another favorite! Thanks for sharing Alan!Arch Canyon from Lewis Lodge:

Thanks John - the view of Arch Canyon isn't exactly what you would call a very accessible location and the best way I can describe it is to say that you won't have trouble finding a parking spot near the loosely defined trailhead. @MonikaC had to do some rock crawling in her FJ to get us there followed by a dicey traverse across a rocky slope to get to the Lewis Lodge ruins where I shot that from.Alan thank you for sharing your landscapes for this week’s Task—very nice captures! Jameel, truly wonderful images you’ve created and shared—and it doesn’t matter if their locations have already been posted. The Grand Canyon is gorgeous, love the sky captured—a favorite! Black Canyon landscape also features a memorable sky. Very nice! I love the sunset in Bryce Canyon—a beautiful composition! Love the light! And the warm and cool color contrast in the Antelope Canyon image creates a memorable image! Love this and all your canyon captures! Thanks for sharing!A few from my archives. My locations are already taken but that's the price for being late to the party

Larry, thank you for sharing each of these beautiful canyon images! I love your first image of the Grand Canyon—I love the sunlight and shadows depicted across the terrain. A very nice composition and a favorite! I enjoyed seeing a family pictured in the second Grand Canyon image, hopefully awestruck by the view. (I wish I was sitting on that bench as well). I love the Grand Canyon third image with the foreground tree pictured prominently in the foreground. Very nice composition and a definite favorite! The Canyonlands image including the brave photographer adds interest (and scale) to the beautiful landscape. (Hopefully his photograph was worth the risk!) I love the image of Cedar Breaks (or “Brakes” remembering the drive there once!) I love the sun and shadows across the canyon enhancing the foreground peak—a definite favorite and gorgeous landscape. Thanks for sharing Larry.A few from my archives:

Monika, thank you for sharing your canyon images for us to see. I enjoyed seeing the humorous side of a Grand Canyon adventure in your first image. I LOVE your Silver Grotto image with the pool of water adding reflections and interest to the beautiful landscape. Very nice and a definite favorite. I like your third image of the inflatable kayaks traveling the Colorado River—always an interesting viewpoint too. The very cute canine looking at you through the canyon walls gap brings added life and humor to this abstract scene. An absolute favorite is the Happy Canyon image—love the light and shadows. Very nice. The B&W Orderville Canyon is also a favorite and well composed. Love the water cascading over the rocks and your chosen shutter speed enhancing its flow. Very nice. In your last image, I liked the snow and fog pictured, and glad you made it safely out of there! Again, thanks for sharing.Where do I stop? Too many to choose from.
Some comic relief to start. Rob picked the wrong place to anchor his boat on this Grand Canyon trip. We got a late start that morning as we had to wait for the water to come up so he could free his boat.

To compliment Craig's shot. Driving there & back was kind of exciting with the black ice on the road & mist hiding the sides of the road.
