The Elusive White Squirrel

https://share.google/gADAwAE0utDT7WjZ3 See the link that discusses how they came to be in this little Blue Ridge mountain town.

My daughter-in-law lives in Brevard NC, and we visited there this week to watch my grandson play soccer.

But in my daughter’s front yard, a pleasant surprise showed up, a white squirrel.
I have seen them before, but never when I had my camera. This time I was preparing to shoot the soccer game and finally, I captured the elusive white squirrel.

#1 He did NOT like having his picture taken

# 3

#4, busted busy eating. He was FAST

Wow, never seen one of those! Excellent #4.

Didn't even know there was such a thing as a white squirrel before now. Glad you had your camera ready. Thanks for the link describing them.

That's so crazy!!!! How does it survive with being white?

Great photos of this ghost.

Very cool! We have black squirrels here.......

Count me with the group which didn't know white squirrels exist. Nice set.

thanks all, its fun to capture something many people never knew existed, and yes, # 4 was a lucky shot the way this thing was darting around

Stunning find and recording the event.
