Roadside Fall

If you recall the fall color I captured with the picnic table from a Rest Area as I was leaving Minnesota the middle of October, this is from the same Rest Area, but looking at a hillside across the highway. One of the things I love about the Nikon 24-200mm Z mount lens is the range it has, and how sharp it is. That's the lens I used here to pull this hillside in that was several hundreds of feet away.

I'd stop to shoot a scene like this. Nice range of colors.

Thanks so much Alan! Of course, I only stopped for the scene after I had stopped for a break. I just got lucky on this one.

Thanks Jameel. Yeah, I also love the range of colors. It's why I have given up on the grand mountain scenes with aspens in Colorado and traded it for the upper midwest. The colors just seem so much more rich.
