That's a lot of camera to carry on your back!Thank you. I've done it twice, once along with my Canon 1Ds!

That's a cool pano, Jim! Very different from most slot shots.Great idea Doug, especially since many of us are done with Antelope now that it's gotten so crowded and commercialized.

This isn't actually a canyon, taken behind an arch just outside Willis Canyon (which does have a nice slot).
The next shots are from the popular Peek-a-Boo/Spooky combo in The Escalante. Tough place to pass another party going the other way!

500' walls? Wow - that 's a serious slot. I'd love to see more shots of that place. As long as this thread has been revived, I'll post a couple from Buckskin Gulch. Buckskin may not be as photogenic as other slots, but it is the longest in the U.S. at roughly 12 miles and the walls get as high as 500 ft. It's a pretty impressive place to hike through.
Did you hike the entire length, Guy? I've only been in a little ways from Wire Pass.As long as this thread has been revived, I'll post a couple from Buckskin Gulch. There are stretches where it's quite obvious that cattle have passed through there. Not so nice in the heat of the day.....500' walls? Wow - that 's a serious slot. I'd love to see more shots of that place.
