Really lovely Ken. All excellent shots.

I'm late to the game as I was busy yesterday. I was in Winnipeg over the Thanksgiving Weekend (Yeah I know... We Canadians do it differently!) and we went to a botanical garden that had a butterfly house. I only had my phone so here are a few images from the butterfly house.

Thanks Alan. Mostly I use Micromotor tools with specially shaped bits. Also a burner to deepen some areas and acrylic paints for the colour.

Thanks Michael.. That shot was taken with my telephoto lens so I was a few feet away which makes butterfly shots much easier.

Thanks Jim. The little bulge at the end of the antennae is only seen in butterflies otherwise I would have said moth as well.

While out looking for late fall migrant birds this Clouded Sulphur butterfly was dancing around on the grass. This shot is captured using the procapture feature on the OM camera where it registers 50 fps in memory and then writes to the disk when you press the shutter. With my reaction time...
