I don't really get out enough to have a vast body of work like many of you, but here are a few of my favorites from this year.

Great range of images Jim. You and the others that post here are not lucky to be able to get to so many locations. You all have worked hard and paved a career path that has allowed you to be at them. Well done.
For sure. I am always looking at the local tides to get a better understanding of what the local beaches will be like when I go.
Glad it brought you some enjoyment.
Yes. This is from that same visit, but I used 2 different images for this version. I have been putting a lot of learning...
Not sure that I posted this before, but I was bored and went through some of my 2017 images and found one to process. If you're not in and out before 3ft tide at this location, you're most likely swimming.

Oops. I forgot I posted this.
Thanks. It was not even a shot I was thinking of. I kind of just walked past and thought..."that would be nice".
Thanks Ben
Not a bad idea. I may have to consider this.

In addition to all I have said, my GC images have helped me understand that simply having a beautiful scene and sunset is not always enough to make a compelling image. My approach now is to try and find a compelling and interesting subject within a scene. I still sometimes fail and fall victim...
I went to the Grand Canyon last year during Thanksgiving. Almost all of my images have identical compositions as yours. I focussed on capturing the enormity of the GC without including a foreground element to anchor the scene or provide scale. Now that I look back at my images, I'm kind of...
A friend of my wife asked if I would photograph her daughter earlier this year for her vlog/blog. I pretty much committed myself about 2 years ago to stop shooting people, but it was hard to say no when the wife puts the pressure on. :D
As much as I do like the images, I was reminded why I...
If Darcey didn't tweak the white on the foreground rock, I would of voted hers the winner. Everything in that image is awesome, but that rock though...:D
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
