Most of what I post here is from an era consisting shots taken from '05 thru '15 after that time, I've been hard at work with my day job, playing out my exit strategy. Hopefully things work out so I can have the time to appreciate the finer things like photography.

Here are a couple more from my recent trip to Abraham Lake. These are less about the ice bubbles and more about trying to follow the light. The first includes the best of the sunrise light we had and the second tries to use the sunburst as it rose above the mountains. I'm not completely sure...
We made two treks to Abraham Lake during my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies. The first time, we arrived in the afternoon to do some scouting and planned to stick around for sunset if things looked good. They didn't (the lake was covered in snow and the overcast skies were nothing special)...
I made the trip to Abraham Lake, north of Banff, last January to take my shot at the ice bubbles. Now that I've been there, I'll be much more prepared for my next attempt. All of these are focused stacked.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
