I had a trip to Bosque Del Apache in December and had the opportunity to shoot a wide variety of pics. I was there for a week and it was one of most relaxing/stress free week I had in a long time! These are some of the Duck picks I shot there.
It was a pretty cold morning last Saturday, this lake was mostly frozen (Lakewood, CO) and these Shovelors found their way to some open water and were very active.
For the sixth “Winged Wednesday,” I have selected photos of a very large and beautiful sea duck that breed on the shores of the Arctic Ocean. As with most bird species, males are more colorful than females.
Capturing these eye-level photos required kneeling in freshwater ponds with my tripod...
Driving back from the beach the other day in rush hour traffic I decided to take side roads instead and wandered down this road in Huntington Beach. It's a park with a little lake or pond with tons of birds. So I pulled over and grabbed the Sony A6400 and went to capture some various birds...
I stopped by a little man made local pond in Heritage Park in SoCal that has some birds and turtles that hang out in it.
I am pretty sure this is a Mallard duck. If it isn’t please let me know. :)
Taken with the Sony A6400 and the 18-135mm len.
All comments are welcome.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
