I made a stop by Kruse Rhododendron State Park today - I've been by it many times but had never actually gone in. Nice little park. Here's a close-up of one of the residents. Any thoughts are welcome.

I hope to get back to Norcal next April and try my luck again with finding the elusive Rhododendron.

This is from the area of the Damnation Creek trail in Northern California. If you have never been to see and shoot the Redwoods when the Rhododendrons are in bloom, you really should get there, it's an unbelievable sight. All comments are welcome, Jim
