Few pics from my early October fall trip, this year's fall colors at Ridgway area was far better than last years.

This is a tribute to all those animals lost in this destructive season of forest fires.

Had a couple of days of cloudy and sometimes rainy weather. Patience sometimes yields nice opportunities on days like this. I was the only one up there for the 2-3 hours I was there. I do find the massed yellows very challenging to process.

The first time I ran into members of this group was in Colorado this fall - at the True Grit field. Finally have gotten around to processing the images from that day. I'll never forget driving on that dirt road, 20 miles from anywhere, and rounding a bend and seeing 50 or more photographers...

From back in SW Colorado at the Dallas Divide, while I missed snow on the peaks I did like the late afternoon sun with the contrasts it then provided on the mountains. The few clouds floating lazily through the scene seemed to compliment everything well. All comments are welcome, Jim
