These birds were captured on bird island in the Denver city park. A fiend and I went around the island in a canoe to get closer to the birds.

That would be super cool to do. Did you rent the canoe? I have an inflatable kayak, I wonder if I could take it there.

HI Jim: They have a rental concession at the lake where they have kayaks, canoes and paddle boats. I don't know if other boats are prohibited on the lake.
