4 More From Norway

So having had the good fortune to visit Norway more than once, I have managed to image in a few very fun locations, all very far north. Here are 4 more images from my times up above the Arctic Circle in that amazingly photogenic country. Comments and critiques most welcome.

Late afternoon light hits a rocky shore while storm clouds coalesce in the distance, on the island of Kvaløya, Norway.

A rainy day along Uttakleiv Beach, Lofoten Islands, Norway.

A pale pastel highlight rims the far horizon and silhouettes some distant peaks on the drive down to Reine, Lofoten Islands, Norway.

Morning sun fights with fog in Reine, Lofoten Islands, Norway.

A distinctly rugged looking section of coastline. Fun set - I like all of them but the last one with the little village hugging the water grabs my attention the most. I like that one in full size - lots of little details in the scene to visually explore.

Great shots Mike..I was in Norway several years ago with my wife on a run through Scandinavia we ended the trip up in Bergen. After that I started
seeing all these shots of Lofoten and have wanted to get there someday. My favorites are 3 and 4 but these are all really beautiful.

Nice set, #1 for me (would also look good in b&w).

I spent a month in Norway hiking and climbing back in the 80s and loved it. Never saw another climber in the main area we visited.

Cool idea Jim, I will have to see what the B&W conversion looks like. Or perhaps I should submit it as a future Let's PLay, since I am not very experienced at B&W conversion techniques as of yet.
